If you have any questions regarding Coronavirus we have a helpful list of FAQs below direct from Refund Protect who have an expert team on hand to assist with any application your customers may make. 

Q: Will I be provided with a refund if I contract Corona Virus and as a result am not able to attend my booked event?
A: Yes, this will result in a refund assuming suitable evidence is produced.

Q: Will I be provided with a refund if I cannot attend my booked event due to a government-imposed travel ban as a result of Corona Virus?
A: No, Corona Virus is considered a Communicable Disease and as such is not included in our Refund Protection Wording. Indeed all standard refund programmes in the industry have similar exclusions.

Q: Will I be provided with a refund if I don’t wish to travel to my booked event for fear of contracting Corona Virus?
A: No, this is not considered a valid reason for refund. This is standard in the refund terms in the event and travel industry.

Q: Will I be provided with a refund if a member of my immediate family dies as a result of Corona Virus?
A: Yes, this will result in a refund assuming suitable evidence is produced.

Q: Will I be provided with a refund if my booked event is cancelled due to Corona Virus?
A: Cancellation of a Booked Event is not a valid reason for refund under our Refund Protect Member Wording; if there is a cancellation you should be contacted by your Booking Agent or the Event Organiser with regards to the refund position.
