Draft, public, and private events

When you create an event, you can choose whether to:

  • Keep the event as a draft
  • Make it public
  • Keep it private
Draft

A draft event means only you can see it.  Drafts will not appear as part of your embedded calendar. It's good to use drafts for events you want to pre-prepare and push live at a later date.

Private

A private event can only be accessed by anyone with the link. They can be accessed if you embed your calendar or the event itself into your webpage as this gives people access to the link.

Private events won't appear on the Helm Tickets 'Find Events' page. This is useful if you want to create a members-only event and only share the event with specific people.

Public

Public events are visible by anyone and will be listed on the Helm Tickets 'Find Events' page.
